Public consultation continues for Atlantic Wharf, Butetown, Cardiff

Following the launch of the public consultation in relation to Cardiff Council’s plans for the transformation of Atlantic Wharf, Butetown, Cardiff a series of webinars will take place next month to provide local residents and businesses with more information about the proposals for Phase 1 of the development. 

Hosted by the Consortium behind the new Cardiff Arena – Robertson, Live Nation and Oak View Group – and Cardiff City Council, the team are keen to share the proposals to date while gathering the views of the local community. 

Anchored by a new public square and arena, Atlantic Wharf is set to become a destination address in Cardiff with a new cultural centre, retail and leisure facilities, hotels, multi-storey car-parking and new homes.  

Invitations have been issued to those who have signed up to receive more information about Atlantic Wharf, Butetown but the webinars are open to anyone who would like to attend. 

Information on how to join the webinars can be found at www.atlanticwharfcardiff.co.uk, recordings will be made available on the website following the events for those who are unable to attend. 

6th July 2021 at 5:30pm – to hear more about the Masterplan vision for Atlantic Wharf, Butetown. 

14th July 2021 at 5:30pm – when we will share the design concept behind Cardiff Arena and the proposed hotel.   

20th July 2021 at 5:30pm – hear from Live Nation about how the arena will be operated and managed.   

Following the public consultation period, planning will be submitted in late Autumn and if granted construction on the new arena and hotel will commence in Spring 2022.
